eventful few days…
so i finally got my tattoo done (Y)
went to abacus on sadler gate…the guys there were awesome and i am now completely in love with it. i’m will definitely be going back there for my next piece, which hopefully wont be too far away. i’d quite like to get it done before i go on holiday this summer…..hmmmm.
so yep…i was incredibly surprised at how painless it was especially because of the size – from seeing jordy have his previous ones done i thought i would at least feel something. but nope, it just tickled
which i suppose i am a little disappointed at if that’s not a weird thing to say…i’ve been told by other people that they suffered for their body art but the end result made them so much happier when combined with the knowledge of what they had been through to get it. should this mean i should be less happy because i didn’t suffer for it like everyone else??? …i don’t think so. i love what i now have, and don’t think it would have made me feel differently if it had hurt.
i guess jordy was a little disappointed with his as it didn’t get finished due to him bleeding out too much, and in a way that kind of brought my mood down – the fact that his tattoo was meant to be a birthday present from me yet on the day mine came out really well and his didnt get finished. He is getting it finished off next month though so hopefully i’ll feel better about that then
i was surprised at how well i slept after getting that done on wednesday…i imagined it was going to wreck trying to sleep on it…but it wasn’t too bad. A good sleep all in all…and the morning after was….nice
haha

thursday was a bit of a waste of a day though…fuck all was achieved – and my mood just seemed to plummet after middday :/ ah well…talked to some old friends again though so that made me feel a bit better
going out with sam and a couple of girls from the course tonight for a few drinks…should be good. we haven’t had a decent chance for a gossip in ages. And i imagine we’ve all got a few good pieces haha

“Three little birds, sat on my window.
And they told me I don’t need to worry.
Summer came like cinnamon
So sweet,
Little girls double-dutch on the concrete.
Maybe sometimes, we’ve got it wrong, but it’s alright
The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same
Oh, don’t you hesitate.”

Wow, that’s a gorgeous tattoo. Did you design it yourself? I really want to get one. I’m thinking probably a leaf on my lower back…
